Vango's 40 years of experience has resulted in a range of quality tents catering for professionals and novices alike. From mountain tents for more extreme conditions through to family tents for campsite use, Vango has designed a tent for you!

TBS - Tension Band System

Vango's TBS - Tension Band System ia a unique patented system for 'tunnel' style tents, which provides unrivalled stability in the most extreme weather conditions. The principle of this system is the support and stabilisation of the pole structure to side winds, by creating an internal bracing system for each pole. This system can be disconnected in calm conditions if desired.

TBS: Vango's unique, patenetd Tension Band System creates a 'triangle' through the tunnel structure, giving unrivalled stability for tunnel style tents when you need it. Simply packs away when not required.
TBS 2: Specially adapted version of TBS for family tunnel tents to maximise interior space.
TBS 3: A multi-configuration system combining the benefits of TBS 2 with the strength of the original TBS. Used on the Equinox tunnel tents.
TBS Pro: Alightweight version replacing the webbing with lightweight guyline cord. Buckles and adjusters are similarly scaled down.

Dry, Safe and Comfortable

Vango have increased the waterproofing (up to 6000 Hydrostatic Head) for 2011. With sewn in groundsheets coming as standard in most tents providing protection from ground moisture and unwanted insects.

Vango Protex Flysheet

Vango flysheets are market leading when it comes to waterproofing and durability. The Protex Cotton version ensures that the tent is kept cooler when the weather is hot and warmer in cooler conditions. The Vango Recycled Polyester fabric is made from recycled plastic bottles, ideal for the eco conscious camper. Vango's high performance ripstop fabrics combine light weight and extreme durability.

High Visibility Guylines

Easy to see in all light conditions, all Vango tents include pre-attached guy lines with guy tidies, which are attached to the tents at optimum position for stability and tension - they are also easier to pack neatly away.

Maximum Comfort, Maximum Sleep

New for 2011, Vango 'Lights Out' sleeping system reduces the amount of early morning light inside sleeping compartments for a longer sleep. Vango also include at least two storage pockets per person.
