Rohan Epic Pampas - Most modern waterproofs rely on a solid and impenetrable wall of man-made fabric to keep the wind and rain at bay. This is a great way to form a protective shell, but the trade-off is comfort. This classic waterproofing approach keeps the weather out but doesn't allow your own body heat and moisture to escape as effectively as a natural fabric like cotton.
The Epic process coats individual cotton fibres with silicone. This clever, 'smart' cotton combines all the softness, quietness and breathability you'd expect from ordinary cotton with, and this is extraordinary, all weatherproof performance you'll ever need - 90% of the time.

A classic Rohan jacket in Epic fabric that is windproof, water repellent, breathable and machine washable. Possibly the most exciting news for 2008. A quick order is probably going to be a must.
