BushBaby Sun / Rain Canopy - For 2010 the following carriers come with a sun/shower canopy; Pinnacle, Elite, Premier, Venus, Lite. The Micro+ and Micro do not include a sun/shower canopy. An L-shape canopy can be purchased as an extra for these two carriers, it is made from lightweight showerproof fabric with mesh sides and has SPF20. The L-shape canopy will fit all old Bushbaby carriers, if you have a carrier which is 15 years old you may need canopy slots fitting.

Bushbaby Cocoon Back System

An award winning front carrier that is designed with a height adjustable back and incorporates a highly supportive waist belt, which cleverly draws the weight away from your shoulders to your waist and distributes the weight of your baby more evenly.

The deep padded waist belt gives greater support and is therefore much more comfortable to wear for longer periods.

Cocoon Front Carrier - your questions answered
Q	What age should my baby be before I start using a front carrier?
A	You can use a front carrier in two ways. From newborn, facing you and from 3 months facing outwards. By the time your baby is 6 - 9 months old, you may find it more comfortable and easier with a full back carrier.
Q	How comfortable is the front carrier for my baby?
A	As the name suggests, the Cocoon front carrier is a safe and secure way of carrying your baby from newborn. It has been designed to give maximum support for your baby with integral back support. This means it is better at cradling your baby's head and leaves you with free hands.
Q	Is the Cocoon easy to load?
A	The Cocoon can be opened out fully for newborn ans used as a changing mat. It is then done up rather like a nappy around your child. It can then be attached on to the adult harness with three easy clips.

Bushbaby Back Carrier System ( ACS )

A unique back system designed to fit the contours of the spine, to protect and support the lumbar area. This clever design means that most of the weight is carried by your hips; not your shoulders or waist.

All of Bushbaby carriers feature superb padding around the lumbar area and hip belt. The Bushbaby Premier and BushBaby Elite have a more technically shaped hip belt and airmesh to help ventilate the back. The back length is 'easy to adjust' and will fit a person from around 5ft (1.52m) to well over 6ft (1.83m).

The Bushbaby harness system has been proven over many years in the mountaineering field to be much more reliable and less prone to the slippage that can occur with slide mechanisms.

BushBaby Back Carriers - your questions answered
Q	Does the carrier stand up by itself?
A	When the child seat area of the carrier is opened to its maximum, the carrier will stand up to be loaded. The carrier should not be used as a chair unless it is supportedand is constantly attended by an adult.
Q	My partner is over 6ft tall - will the carrier adjust to fit him/her?
A	Yes, all our carriers are designed to be adjusted to fit from approx 5ft to a maximum of 6ft 5in
Q	From what age can we start using a back carrier?
A	BushBaby recommend you start using a back carrier for a child that is 5/6 months old. The child should be able to support its head well. Bushbaby also advise that you can use their carriers until your child is approx 3/4 years old ( to a max weight of 20kg/44lbs )
Q	Is the carrier easy to load?
A	Yes, when the carrier is opened fully, your child can be loaded in seconds with the 3 point secure quick adjust harness.
Q	How do I get the carrier on if I'm on my own?
A	Once you've loaded and secured you child, you can either lift the carrier on to your knee and then up on to your shoulders, or place the carrier on the settee, bend your knees, slip the carrier straps over your shoulders, fasten the hip belt securely and tighten shoulder straps. This method is also effective if you are in a car. Just use the back seat or boot lip.
